Very nice people! But unreliable if you need a real fix. I went to get my car fixed because it wouldnβt start and I needed to go on a long trip with my family in the car. I told the mechanics the same. I asked them to check out why my car wouldnβt start, fix my AC and a fix the break noise. They took care of the AC and break noise the first time just fine. Didnβt check the other issue about the car not starting that I mentioned but left my terminal slightly disconnected from my battery. The second time, I came back explaining I was about to leave for the trip. I HAD to come back because the terminal they left unconnected started smoking. They took no responsibility and made me pay for the new terminal and the labour. They told me this would fix the car not starting as well. I took it home, it would not start the next day. The THIRD time. I take it in and let them know itβs most likely the alternator or the starter. Explaining the battery is essentially new. They call me back and tell me that itβs the batteryβ¦. I pick up my vehicle and change the battery myself. The vehicle still has the starting issueβ¦ This means they are not trustworthy. THREE opportunities to do a proper

Dont even take credit for a full 1 star... Sledgehammer mechanics and they do not care about your vehicle... Don't take your car here if your trying to get ever inch out of your ride. Stripped a bolt because they use Impacts on everything instead of there brains... Bent a joint on the right and now the car is inoperable because of the shaking after 35mph.... They deleted the dash footage or unplugged the cam while it was being worked on as well as the test drove afterwards which i came upon them slamming the brakes coming back because "THEY WERE RUSHED"... The car was at the shop since 8am when they opened and waited the entire day to work on it... Don't take anything here unless you dont care because they dont as well and they just want money.... A specialist in a field were the car is no longer being manufactured and he charges a ball of gum compared to the half-wited experience they have working there....

This is the 3rd time I have used Howe Auto for something, I was reasonably satisfied the first two times, however, I don't think I could be more angry and disappointed than I am right now. I took my car to Howe Auto with a specific request, and the young, obviously, wet-behind-the-ears mechanic, took it upon himself, to do what HE wanted, not what the Customer (that's me) ordered/requested. First off, I did not actually need a mechanic to do the job, I just had a lot of things going on, and because they had been good to me in the past, I thought I would throw them an easy job, and we would both benefit. They would make a few dollars and I wouldn't have to fight it with my limited tools. I told them to replace my Lower Radiator Hose, the 2 Clamps and, of course, fill it with Coolant. I provided the Hose and 2 gallons of 50/50 Coolant, but told them they would need to supply the Clamps. I was told that it would cost about $81, providing there were no complications. When I returned to get my car, I had a $74 Bill for 1 Clamp being replaced, and they did NOT replace the Hose I brought my car in for in the first place. And when I incredulously asked why they had totally ignored me a

My van broke down in VT. AAA took it to Howe Service Center and they had the universal joints replaced on the drive shaft in 24 hours. The receptionist and mechanic were very friendly and the price was very reasonable. I'd gladly work with Howe again.

This is the shop to go to. They are fairly priced per hour and dont charge up the donkey for parts. They fix your car up really quickly and its great work. They understand here that if you have a car its going to have maintenance but it doesn't need to cost you your life savings. Ive taken multiple cars here and the work on every single one has been phenomenal. These guys explain everything and answer any questions you might have. Honestly they're great people and great mechanics that you can trust with your vehicle.
